LIBRARY

All elementary, middle school students and students in PreK 4s have the opportunity to visit the library once a week.  Certified Librarian, Mrs. Missy Edgmon, imparts her love for reading through story time and helps the children pick our their own books to check out for the week.  (PreK students do not take home books.)

The addition of our children's library in fall of 2007 was an exciting expansion of our program.  We have acquired a wonderful collection of books that appeal to a range of reading levels through generous donations by many Cornerstone and First Colony Church of Christ families as well as with funds raised from annual book fairs.  Many thanks to all who have generously supported the joy of reading at Cornerstone!

If you are interested in making a donation to the Cornerstone Library, you may do so in a number of ways:

1. Donate gently used books appropriate for preschoolers through 7th grade from your own collection.

2. Become part of the Birthday Book Club. A $20 donation in your child's name will purchase a new book for the library. Your child will have his/her name noted in the book, and he/she will get to be the first to check out that book. Ms. Missy will send you information about this project the month of or the month prior to your child's birthday.

3. Make a cash donation in any amount to Cornerstone, notating "Library Donation" on the memo line.
