ELEMENTARY PROGRAM

Cornerstone Christian Academy serves elementary school students from bridge-kindergarten (students turning five between September 1 and December 31) through 5th Grade. The school has added a grade each year since its beginning to complete the elementary school program.

Our teachers share in the learning adventures of the class. Respect for cultural, family and social needs are balanced with the individual child's needs. Learning occurs in a variety of settings: individual, small group, whole class and in learning centers. Teachers are sensitive to the sensory modes of young children and incorporate all five modes into their activities and experiences. Teachers also respect the variation of learning styles that occurs in children. The goal is to help children grow in all developmental areas: spiritual, intellectual, physical and social.

Hours: 8:05 a.m. - 2:45 p.m.

Advanced Christian-integrated curriculum (including, but not limited to: Core Knowledge, Saxon Math, Shurley English, D’Nealian, Scott Foresman, A Beka, ACSI, Literacy Place)

Early-Drop/After-school care available: 7:15 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. (additional fees apply)
After-School enrichment classes available

Elementary and middle school students wear uniforms.
